IS FAILURE ESSENTIAL TO SUCCEED ❔🔑

    Each one of us wants to succeed in each and every aspect of our life. When we try hard, to achieve something we desire, and are not able to succeed, the situation results in disappointment and may even result in the person thinking of quitting. Disappointment is often a result of our own expectations. 

The famous Author James Clear in his book Atomic Habits explains the cause of disappointment as,

" We often expect progress to be linear but in reality the results of our efforts are often delayed"

    The difference between what we think should happen and what actually happens results in the valley of disappointment due to which we feel discouraged after putting weeks or months of hard work without experiencing any result, but according to the Author James Clear, this work is never wasted. It is simply being stored.

    When working on achieving goals, disappointment is common, as failure is the essential phase of the journey to success, which results in disappointment. But, having a positive outlook towards failure can help us deal with it better. The positive attitude of Thomas Alva Edison towards failure made him one of the most famous inventors of all time. He never considered that he failed instead, he viewed it as succeeding in finding 10,000 ways that won't work. This approach can be applied in studies as, each time when you make a mistake, you must get happy, the reason being now you will be able to correct that mistake which will result in making the concept more clear and thus upgrading your knowledge leading to increased chance of success.

    The experience which we gain from failure helps us in achieving success. Once, we accept the fact that, failure is a part of learning process and are able to make through that phase in the journey to success, we will be able to enjoy the sweet taste of the outcome as " The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory."
