Newton's Laws of Motion ➨ Newton's Laws of Motivation

Each one of us has learnt Physics at some point of time in life. But many of us never enjoyed it and sometimes even hated Newton for inventing all this lawsπŸ˜‚, as somehow we were not able to connect or relate with them. But surprisingly Newton's laws of motion are not only applicable to physical objects but to human beings as well.

Let's try to elaborate and discover them from that point of view.

Newton's 1st law of motion :

Statement: A body remains in the state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line unless and until an external force acts on it.

Just like physical objects, it's human nature to be inert to changes. Hence according to the law, unless and until we take efforts from our side to change things nothing can happen. Our growth will be stagnant without an external force i.e. desire to grow or desire to improve or desire to change. Isn't it true?

Motivational Takeaway: To change things we need to come out of our comfort zone and coming out of comfort zone requires an external force i.e. motivation.

Newton's 2nd law of motion :

Statement: The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force.

Here, acceleration directly proportional to net force can be interpreted as success or growth is directly proportional to the force which is nothing but a combination of hard work, proper timing, patience and positivity.

Motivational Takeaway: The success and growth of a particular individual is directly proportional to that individual only and no one else i.e. we ourself can create the life we want.

Newton's 3rd law of motion :

Statement:  For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

"If you want to shine like sun, first burn like it."
Reminding the words of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, let's consider an example. Suppose you decided to win a competition and come out with flying colors. Irrespective of whether it is related to academics, sports, singing, dancing or acting it will require efforts including compromising on your favourite TV shows, social gatherings and sometimes sleep as well. So, if compromising on things for your success is the action then celebrating after victory is it's opposite reaction.

Motivational Takeaway: Enjoyable moments and struggle moments both are equally important in life to maintain balance.
As,
      Because of hard times only,
We are able to recognize and enjoy the good ones.
Just like,
       Because of bitter taste,
We are able to differentiate it with sweet.

What is your opinion on this? Think for Yourself
